Lynn Davies

Lynn Davies (born 1954 in Moncton, New Brunswick) is a Canadian poet and writer. After travelling and working as a journalist, she turned to poetry in the 1990s. Her debut collection, The Bridge That Carries the Road (1999), was shortlisted for the Governor General’s Award and the Gerald Lampert Award. She followed up with further works including Where Sound Pools (2005). Her poetry engages with place, nature, human relationships and the everyday imagination.
