Judith Hamel

Judith Hamel completed her Master of French Language and Literature at the University of Moncton. After writing a collection of poetry, she turned to youth literature and published her first children’s book, Modo et la lune (Modo and the Moon), in 1996. In addition to the five-book Modo series, Judith published four other titles at Bouton d’or Acadie. This woman of spirit and heart passed away due to cancer on August 21st, 2005. Thankfully, her literary work will live on, to the delight of children and all of us. [Bio taken from the REFC website]
