Nancy King Schofield

Nancy King Schofield is a Canadian visual artist and poet, born in Saint John, New Brunswick. After earning a BFA from Mount Allison University, she established a studio in Grand Barachois where her work is deeply influenced by nature and place. A co-founder of Galerie 12 in Moncton, she has been a vital part of the region’s arts and literary community since the 1990s. Her paintings, printmaking and writings have been exhibited across Canada and internationally, and she engages with themes of memory, geologic time and human vulnerability through layered materials and poetic lines.
