Josephine Watson

Josephine C. Watson is a poet, singer and actor from Fredericton, New Brunswick. Combining jazz, blues, rock and reggae with spoken-word poetry, she is a powerful performer and artist on stage. She was the first woman to be named Moncton’s “Poète Flyée”. Her dedication to history and memory is evident in her French translation of the children’s book Africville.
