Discours/e is a bilingual digital catalogue which offers visual and audio archives, critical essays and articles— reflecting the diversity and richness of Atlantic literatures and cultures.
As an initiative of the Frye Festival and supported by the Canada Book Fund, Discours/e vise à :
- to encourage the creation of discourses and research on local literature
- to increase the discoverability of New Brunswick’s books, authors, artists and all organizations and businesses working in the literary and cultural sectors
- to ensure the circulation and promotion of contemporary literary and cultural practices, as well as the creation of archival documents related to Atlantic literatures and cultures.
Discours/e is designed to be a hub for our region’s literary and cultural scene, a space where critical essays on literature by local authors mingle with academic articles and video archives, a space fully invested by the Atlantic literary and cultural milieu.
The texts, articles and archives available in the catalogue come from the Frye Festival’s correspondent campaign, from the study days Communities and Convergences in Contemporary Literature and from the archives of our partners. All content published on Discours/e is available under the licence CC BY-NC-ND.
This project was conceptualized by Ariane Savoie et développé par Sarah Grenier-Millette in 2024 under WordPress 6.7.2 with the MH Magazine theme. The logo was designed by Sylvie Boulianne.
