Gérald Leblanc
Gérald Leblanc (1955–2005) was an Acadian poet born in Bouctouche, New Brunswick. A leading figure in contemporary Acadian literature, he was a prolific author who published numerous collections of poetry, novels, and critical texts. His writing (often shaped by urban life, popular culture, and a strong drive for identity-based emancipation) helped to modernize the Acadian poetic voice.
Based for many years in Moncton, he played an active role in the city’s cultural effervescence alongside other artists and writers, particularly through the publishing house Perce-Neige and the collective Les Éditions d’Acadie.

Marc Chamberlain
Marc Chamberlain is an interdisciplinary artist who has been active in poetry for over a decade. He has taken part in numerous poetry evenings in Moncton and Caraquet, founded the journal Beûgle, and published his first book-object in 2016, Fall from Graisse et autres correspondances. Influenced by the Beat Generation, his work is one of the distinctive voices of contemporary Acadian poetry. His collection Socialite was published by Éditions Perce-Neige in 2024.

Marie-Jo Thério
Marie-Jo Thério (born July 3 1965, in Shédiac, raised in Moncton, New Brunswick) is an Acadian singer-songwriter and actor. She began studying piano early and moved to Montréal at 17 to pursue literature and theatre. Her debut album Comme de la musique was released in 1995; she also earned acclaim for her supporting role in the film Full Blast (1999), winning the Jutra Award. Her work blends folk, pop and Acadian dialects, and she is renowned for her distinctive voice and captivating performances.
